NEW YEAR HIKE TO VIOLET HILL AND TWIN PEAK

CUAAHK is organizing a hike to Violet Hill and Twin Peak to welcome the New Year together! This trail features the beautiful view of Central, Tai Tam Reservoir, Southern Island, and even Ocean Park! 

Event Details: 

Date & Time: Saturday, 6 January 2024, 9:00 am to 12:00 pm

Distance: Around 5.5km

Duration: under 3 hours

Difficulty: 4 out of 5

Tips:

• Be prepared for stairs.
• Wear proper hiking shoes that have a good grip.
• Bring enough water and some light snacks.

Meeting Point: We will meet at Wong Nai Chung Gap Road (the specific meetup point will be shared later) to walk up Tai Tam Reservoir Road and enter the trail on the right-hand side after the lake. At the trail’s end, we can take bus 6, 6A, 260, or a taxi to Stanley.

Capacity: 25-30 people. First come, first served. Family/friends/children are welcome
